Amie Cox

Amie is the Head dietitian and owner of Target Nutrition.

 

Amie fell in love with learning how to adapt her nutrition to support exercise and performance. Amie personally competes in weightlifting and her peak interest is in helping athletes make weight for competition. However she shows a great interest in CrossFit as she trained in this sport for many years and understands how nutrition plays a significant role in recovery and performance.  

 

It is her greatest joy teaching her clients how to eat the right food at the right time in order to increase their quality of life, energy levels and performance. It is not just all about body composition changes. She wants the best for her clients, for them to feel like they can train to their highest capacity and feel that they have the energy to do so.

Steffani Ford

Steff is a Senior Dietitian, Sports Dietitian and most importantly a food lover! Steff joins Target Nutrition after completing a Bachelor degree in Clinical Sciences, Human Nutrition and a Master degree in Dietetics.

 

Steff’s passion is sports nutrition, she has grown up around sports from a young age and knows about good food to fuel the body. As a teenager, Steff competed in state titles for rowing and netball, she knows first-hand what it is like to have to provide your body with the right foods for performance, and often times for multiple games, or races in one day. Which is where her favourite banana and peanut butter sandwiches came in super handy!

 

More recently, Steff has been a group fitness instructor, she thrives off giving her team 100% all the time to achieve their goals. This translates into her dietetic service.

 

Steff knows there is no one size fits all approach, she tailors every single meal plan for each individual. Steff helps set achievable goals for clients and works with them every step of the way to achieve them.

Dayn Sorensen

Dayn is an accredited practicing dietitian and nutritionist and fitness trainer.

Working with people to reach their goals is what he enjoys most about his job. His goal is to empower people to make positive health changes through practical nutrition recommendations and regular exercise.

Dayn believes that no goal is too simple that it can’t benefit from having an experienced coach and trainer work with you to reach it.

His career in the fitness industry began as a personal trainer in Feb 2011. He started CrossFit around the same time, going on to complete his CrossFit Level 1 to become a coach later that year, and has since gone on to complete the CrossFit Level 2 and 3 certifications becoming one of only a handful of CrossFit Level 3 coaches in Australia.

Dayn has also acquired his weightlifting coaching qualifications and has completed training to become an AWF Level 3 National Weightlifting/Sports Power Coach (Intern).
